Hello new Teacher,
Welcome to the exciting audio language learning project TALK PARROT.
The TALK PARROT site offers free language learning audio for listeners from all over the world. Our audio can be reached on the site or directly on Sound Cloud, iTunes (as a podcast subscription) and in the future on Google play (as a smart phone app).
The language lessons and shows are recorded as Skype conversation between Talk Parrot presentors and online language teachers. Teachers are also offered to make do-it-yourself lessons, although this might require some technical equipment, time and know-how.
Every language represented in the site has its own page and in it there is a list of contributors - teachers who have helped make the free audio lessons of that language.
The more lessons the teacher has participated in, the upper and bolder his listing will go.
Listeners can listen to a sound/lesson sample of the teacher and require to schedule a Skype lesson with that teacher.
Connect with new students
We connect between the listeners/potential students and our online-teachers for the first time, then it's all between the student and the teacher. We don't take a commission for each lesson but do ask for a one time fee, equal to the fee that the teacher would take for a single lesson.
This is not mandatory. Teachers who don't want to pay in reciprocation for new students names that were transferred to them, are not obliged to do so.
On our part, we would like to push up and send new potential student names to teachers who participate, pay a one time fee for each new student that came through us, etc.
To schedule your first/next Skype conversation with Talk Parrot (which will become your next lesson/episode participation), look for the TEACHERS' ROOM.
You'll be prompted to supply three time slots that are most convenient to you for a Skype conversation.
